Functional Prototypes
Production-intent parts for fit, form, validation, and field testing—built in engineering-grade polymers.

East Texas · Advanced Manufacturing
Industrial additive manufacturing for functional prototypes, production tooling, and end-use components—built with engineering polymers and a manufacturing-first mindset.
Manufacturing, not just printing
Stratum Precision Works helps manufacturers, engineers, and maintenance teams move from problem to production-ready polymer part with less friction.
We combine responsive project communication with practical knowledge of material behavior, build strategy, and real-world part performance.
Core capabilities
From a single critical replacement to repeatable low-volume production, every project starts with the technical requirements—not a preset process.
Production-intent parts for fit, form, validation, and field testing—built in engineering-grade polymers.
Custom workholding, assembly aids, inspection fixtures, drill guides, and shop-floor tooling engineered for repeat use.
Bridge production and end-use components without hard tooling, with responsive change control and repeatable output.
Recreate unavailable, damaged, or obsolete polymer components from drawings, CAD, or a physical sample.
Build capacity for substantial parts, consolidated assemblies, manufacturing aids, and durable one-off components.
Practical engineering feedback on geometry, material, orientation, tolerances, and cost before the build begins.
PRODUCTION TOOLING / LOW-VOLUME PARTSEquipment & process
Our initial platform is centered on enclosed, controlled FDM systems capable of producing large, strong components in engineering polymers. Build preparation is tailored to the part’s load path, tolerance requirements, surface needs, and service environment.

Engineering materials
Temperature, stiffness, impact, fatigue, chemicals, UV exposure, friction, and cost all matter. We help identify the practical material class for the job.
PA-CF / PET-CFHigh stiffness, dimensional stability, and reduced weight for demanding fixtures and end-use parts.
PA6 / PA12Tough, fatigue-resistant materials for clips, housings, mechanisms, and impact-prone components.
PC / ASA / PETGApplication-matched options for heat, weather, chemical exposure, and industrial service.
PLA / TPUCost-effective prototyping and flexible components when the application supports them.
Material availability and suitability are confirmed during engineering review. Datasheets available with quote.
Quality approach
Quality begins with a clear definition of what matters on the part. We review critical dimensions, functional interfaces, material requirements, cosmetic expectations, and acceptance criteria before production.
Stratum Precision Works does not currently claim third-party quality or cybersecurity certifications. As our capabilities expand, our quality system will grow deliberately with them.
Drawing, model, application, quantity, material, and critical features aligned before build release.
Documented orientation and process strategy for repeatability across the order.
Visual and dimensional checks appropriate to the quote and supplied requirements.
Order identification, material record, and inspection notes available when specified.
Industries served
Built for engineering, operations, maintenance, and product teams that value direct communication and practical manufacturing judgment.
Guards, brackets, tooling, replacement parts, and production support.
Rugged components and rapid-response parts for demanding field conditions.
Development tooling and non-certified polymer components with disciplined documentation.
End-of-arm tooling, sensor mounts, cable management, and custom machine interfaces.
Fit-check models, fixtures, ducting, covers, and low-volume functional components.
Fast, informed iteration from first functional article through bridge production.
The Stratum roadmap
Stratum is being built deliberately: establish a strong additive manufacturing foundation, then add subtractive capacity without diluting process discipline or service.
Functional polymer components, tooling, prototypes, and low-volume production.
Precision prismatic components, tooling plates, and machined features.
Round components, bushings, adapters, and production hardware.
Based in East Texas
Stratum Precision Works was founded to give regional and national customers a responsive source for technically informed, production-minded additive manufacturing. We believe good manufacturing partnerships are built on clear answers, realistic commitments, and parts that perform.
